P/T Wastewater Site Manager

Wastewater Contract Management Service seeking a part-time employee for a temporary position to manage a small-sized package type wastewater treatment facility Monday-Fridays, approx 3-4 hours per day.  This position will last anywhere from 3 to 9 months starting on February 15th. Location: Hopewell Regional Wastewater Treatment Facility.

 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Wastewater treatment facility hands on operation & maintenance including collecting wastewater samples, performing basic laboratory work, and some chemical handling.

 

Mandatory Qualifications:

• High School Diploma

• Above-average organizational skills

• Strong work ethic

• Average to above-average oral and written communication skills

• Flexible hours when needed

• Cell phone and email correspondence

 

Preferred (not mandatory) Qualifications:

• Wastewater Treatment experience

• State of Virginia Wastewater Treatment Operator certification(s)

• Repair & maintenance capabilities specific to mechanical, plumbing, &/or electrical
